His responsibilities include the Southeast Regional Sequestration Partnership, the largest of seven regional initiatives funded by the U.S. Department of Energy. Under his direction, the Board fostered international relationships and coalitions for clean energy, aided in environmental protection and fostered economic development throughout the region. Nemeth has extensive international relations experience, having developed energy partnership with nations from Vietnam to Uzbekistan. Nemeth is a member of the National Coal Council. He is a graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla.
