Expert Profile Mr. Milton CatelinChief Executive World Coal Institute Expert on energy poverty, world coal markets, and clean coal solutions Mr. Milton Catelin is Chief Executive of the World Coal Institute, a position he has held since January 2005. Before joining the World Coal Institute, he served the United Nations Environment Programme, where he created a public-private partnership to respond to hazardous waste issues around the globe. Catelin has worked in the Australian Departments of the Prime Minister & Cabinet, Finance & Administration and Environment & Heritage. He was Chief Negotiator for Australia on both the Kyoto Protocol and the Montreal Protocol. Catelin holds a master’s degree in public policy.
