Mr. Milton Catelin

Mr. Milton Catelin is Chief Executive of the World Coal Institute, a position he has held since January 2005. Before joining the World Coal Institute, he served the United Nations Environment Programme, where he created a public-private partnership to respond to hazardous waste issues around the globe. Catelin has worked in the Australian Departments of the Prime Minister & Cabinet, Finance & Administration and Environment & Heritage. He was Chief Negotiator for Australia on both the Kyoto Protocol and the Montreal Protocol. Catelin holds a master’s degree in public policy.
